Gillian Micale, graduate researcher from Department of Material Science and Engineering showcases her research work in the field of microelectronics, semiconductors and devices using advanced materials such as Gallium Nitride.
STEM for Women -Gallium Nitride and its impact on Semiconductor Devices
Gillian showcases her research work in the field of microelectronics.
Inspiring Change Through Education
Gillian focuses on outreach efforts through the Mechanical Engineering's Women's Technology Program (WTP) camp at MIT, a program for young women in high school interested in STEM. Gillian presented an introduction to semiconductors and electronic devices using a Gallium Nitride wafer engineered within Palacios group (wafer courtesy:Josh Perozek).
MTL's Student Seminar Series
Gillian Micale, a graduate researcher in Palacios Group organizes bi-weekly student seminars hosted by MTL as a great platform to learn, and expose the community to relevant skills. This is an event that promotes student engagement and discussions on relevant topics that connects the microelectronics community with EECS and SoE at MIT. Above are a few of the recent presenters. For more informations on this seminar or if you would like to be a presenter, kindly visit MTL's website.
