Tomas Palacios, Associate Director of SUPREME

DARPA along with SRC kicks off University Microelectronics Program 2.0 (JUMP 2.0). Out of the seven centers within the JUMP 2.0 program, Professor Tomás Palacios will be the Associate Director of the Superior Energy-Efficient Materials and Devices (SUPREME) Center established by Cornell University, sponsored by Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC).  "SUPREME is a $34m research center that will accelerate the creation of energy-efficient semiconductor materials and technologies, and develop new approaches for microelectronics systems.", according to the Semiconductor-Today article published on January 9th, 2023.   Researchers from 14 higher-education universities will work under SUPREME in collaboration with SRC. Huili Grace Xing,  the William L. Quackenbush Professor of Engineering in materials science and engineering, and in electrical and computer engineering, at Cornell Engineering, will serve as the center’s director. Read More
